Practical Compassion | Sourcing the Power of Love

Connect - Communicate - Relate Learn and practice the basic skills of empathy and compassionate communication. This work is based in Nonviolent Communication™  or NVC, the life-affirming communication process of Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph. D., the Getting Real work of Susan Campbell Ph.D. and A Course In Miracles. Learn to access and use the power of empathy and compassion in real time to love yourself, extend that love to others and improve the relationships that matter most to you. In this class you will meet like minded people and learn to better: • Speak in a way that supports your being heard • Receive difficult messages with grace and ease • Source cooperation in challenging situations • Make requests that elicit connection and cooperation  • Resolve differences while maintaining connection • Strengthen connections with loved ones, friends and coworkers FAQs Where do you meet?  We meet in the Unity Houston Education Annex Building which faces Hillcroft, in Room 104.  Where shall I park? The Hillcroft parking lot is closed. For easy access to the Annex from Unity Drive park in the West Lot between the Pyramid and Hillcroft. Near the ANNEX sign and gate in the chain link fence on the North side of the lot.  Enter the gate in the chain link fence and pass the Unity Library, cross the wooden deck and enter the Annex Building through the green door. We meet in Room 104, the first room on the right. Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? Text or call Ed Halloran 713-628-2336 or email: halloraned@gmail.com.  Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Yes.
