MOVEMENT ON DREAMS. STAND UNDER NONE. "I think the suns comin' out", says 22 year old Derek Smith. He is positive his positivity will bring him something positive. "The two things I base my life around and continue to stay passionate about are music and "the secret". I know that thinking about what you want will bring you.....what you want. I know what I want and I know i'm going to get what I want. Once I figured that out there wasn't much to be unhappy about. I'm not kidding when i say, i'm never not happy. I'm always smiling and people notice that. They literally tell me that I make them feel good just being around. I don't think there is a better compliment. With my music I take that feeling and turn it into a sound. I know i could write "break up" songs, or "the worlds got me down" songs but I honestly don't think about those things. I ONLY think happy thoughts.....and i can promise you, it works." Derek has been pursuing music at a serious level since age 14. "My first instrument was a Fender strat my dad got me for christmas when i was 9. I didn't really know anything about music at that point so the guitar didn't interest me much. I'm totally serious when i say this.....the band "HANSON" gets full credit for getting me into music. I grew up with an older sister, and I just remember all her friends coming over and going crazy over these dudes. Zac Hanson (the drummer) seemed to get the most girls so naturally...i chose to play drums. From that moment on, all I wanted to do was play music and tour. I played in a bunch of bands growing up (the semester, sideline heroes...) and then joined "Four Letter Lie". We were signed by the time I was 18 and did nothing but tour. I love drums but I always wanted to interact with the crowd more. While touring I started to freestyle. I'm a funny dude so making people laugh wasn't ever a problem. I could go on forever just rhymin whatever was in front of me. People started tellin me to record some tracks and the rest is history." Mod Sun recently released a free mixtape for download titled "Let Ya Teeth Show". It features 11 brilliant new songs. "It's got party-anthems, dreams-come-true songs, get high tracks, and really just captures that "the suns out!" vibe." CLICK TO DOWNLOAD "LET YA TEETH SHOW" Mod Sun released his first full-length cd titled, "I'll Buy Myself", on January 31st 2009. It featured 11 songs, all of which were beats made by Dylan. The songs were written and recorded over a 8 month span from May to December 2008. Every song was recorded in his bedroom and produced by him and only him. He did it all by himself...hence the name of the record.

Chiodos is an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan, formed in 2001. Originally known as "The Chiodos Bros." the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Their second full length album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on Top Independent Albums. Warner Bros. Records released Bone Palace Ballet on January 26, 2009, as part of a new distribution deal in the UK. Chiodos was formed at the Flint Local 432, a small venue in downtown Flint, Michigan and Olde Jamestowne Hall in Saginaw, Michigan. The band is known for their on-stage performances which include controlled, high-pitched vocals from former lead singer, Craig Owens. Craig Owens has cited lead singer of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc. fame, Mike Patton as one of his greatest influences saying, "I only wish I could be as good as him." Their debut album, All's Well That Ends Well (Equal Vision Records) was released on July 26, 2005. It reached #3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #164 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. While their sophomore album, Bone Palace Ballet reached the number 5 spot on the Billboard 200. The band's albums and live performances have garnered praise from press outlets. Chiodos headlined some shows on their own before joining Alternative Press's 2006 "Invisible Sideshow" tour, headlined by Armor for Sleep. Following that tour, they supported Matchbook Romance on the Sub City "Take Action" tour in Spring 2006. That summer, they toured with Fear Before the March of Flames, as well as appearing on the Warped Tour.In fall 2006, Chiodos appeared on Atreyu's World Championship Tour, alongside From First to Last and Every Time I Die, as well as 3 and 36 Crazyfists. Chiodos has had several scuffs with those in the music industry, most notably Steven Smith of Steven's Untitled Rock Show, Andy Williams of Every Time I Die, and HORSE The Band. In 2005, Chiodos independently made a video for the song "All Nereids Beware." The video consists of the band playing the rare pre-All's Well That Ends Well version of the song in a parking lot. In 2006, Chiodos made videos for "One Day Women Will All Become Monsters" and "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek". The "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on the Creek" video was included on the 2006 re-issue of All's Well That Ends Well, which added a DVD and three acoustic tracks to the 2005 release. A video for "Lexington (Joey Pea-Pot With A Monkey Face)" was made which premiered world wide on April 2, 2008 on the social network MySpace. This was the first single of their sophomore album, "Bone Palace Ballet". Chiodos' drummer, Derrick Frost has stated in an interview that the band was disappointed in the final result of the music video, saying "Well, usually there are different people who throw out ideas and we go through them and add in our own suggestions but that video definitely didn’t turn out like we wanted it to turn out, like at all. We’re pretty disappointed with it. We never get a video where we’re all like “This is amazing!” And that’s what every band wants, to have an amazing video because that can push your career and your band so far. And we haven’t gotten that yet so it’s kind of frustrating. It’s just like so much money that we spent on this for no reason. No one’s going to play it; it’s not getting played at all." On September 16, 2008, Chiodos teamed up with acclaimed director Darren Doane and The Crofoot Ballroom to shoot a video for "The Undertaker's Thirst For Revenge Is Unquenchable (The Final Battle)" in downtown Pontiac, MI.

Dave Schmitt – Vocals Kyle Even – Vocals When Dave Schmitt and Kyle Even formed Breathe Carolina in 2007, they didn't anticipate that their “just for fun” project would explode into an internationally sought-after band within just a couple of years. The story of Breathe Carolina is a modern day music fairytale, about two friends who recorded tracks on Mac program GarageBand at home in Denver, Colo., put them on to MySpace and rapidly gained a huge online following. The band’s self-released debut EP Gossip hit iTunes in 2007, and after a phenomenal response, they released their debut album It’s Classy, Not Classic in 2008. The album entered the Billboard Top 200 at #186. Their genre-clashing blend of crowd-pleasing pop, rock and electronica was a hit, and no longer confined to the bedroom – Breathe Carolina were a global force ready to be heard. After signing with Fearless Records in 2009, their album Hello Fascination took their music to a bigger, brighter and more blistering dimension. Recorded with the stellar production team of Mike Green (Paramore, The Higher, Set Your Goals) and Matt Squire (Taking Back Sunday, 3OH!3, Panic At The Disco), their sound became re-defined with the addition of live instruments and hooky pop choruses. The album debuted at #43 on the Billboard Top 200, at #5 on the Independent Chart and #2 on the Electronic Chart. The title track “Hello Fascination” was featured on MTV’s The City and received placement on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. It even became the featured track on NBC’s The Jay Leno Show promos. The band followed up their second UK headline tour of the year with a whole summer on Vans Warped Tour 2010, followed by a direct support slot to Mayday Parade on the Fearless Friends Tour in Fall 2010. 2011 may very well be the year of Breathe Carolina. In February 2011, the band performed at the Winter X-Games and thrilled audiences two days of the huge winter sports festival. In addition to releasing two cover singles on the 2010 Punk Goes Pop 3 and the X-Games tribute Punk Goes X, the band has finished writing and recording their third album, which is set to release in Summer 2011.
